Covid-19 Update

Seion Chapel is open for worship every Sunday at 11am.  You are most welcome to join us!

Please do not attend services if you have a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of or change to your sense of smell or taste, or a recent positive test for Covid-19.

Also, when attending Seion, please wear a mask (unless you are exempt) and use the hand sanitisers provided as you enter and leave.

Whilst most of Seion’s usual meetings are still on hold, in addition to our Sunday services (11am and 5:30pm), we are holding a Bible Study on Thursday evenings, and a Prayer Meeting through telephone conferencing on Monday evenings.  Please keep referring back here for information on when our other meetings will be restarting.

We would encourage you to join us in person for our worship services.  Listening to a part of a service at home just isn’t the same as being there in person.  But as we recognise that it may not be possible for some to attend (eg. having tested positive for Covid-19) we will be putting the sermon from a previous weeks service on this page.

Sermon

Seion is an independent evangelical church in the village of Maerdy, which is right at the top of the Rhondda Fach valley in South Wales.  Our church community is made up of people from different backgrounds, but we share a common faith in Jesus Christ. As Christians, we have new life in Jesus and are being changed by the grace of God. We want to share this message with others.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please look around to find out more about who we are, what happens at Seion Chapel, and what we believe.  But please don’t just look at our website – come and meet us!  At Seion all visitors receive a really warm welcome.
